The first review of the Urban Wildscapes book has been published. Michael Smith states The book “Urban Wildscapes” should become a manual for all who are involved in Parks and Open Spaces, and especially all who are tasked with greening the urban environment. At last the book is in the shops and online. It looks great. There are 100 images (or thereabouts) and new work from established writers such as Chris Baines and Christopher Woodward, as well as some interesting takes on the subject from new writers. Urban Wildscapes Editor and Author is the contact for the upcoming ECLAS conference to be hosted at the newly refurbished Arts Tower at the University of Sheffield. This year’s conference focuses on Ethics and Aesthetics and draft copies of the Urban Wildscapes book will be available to view.
